Unusual Attitude and Upset Recovery
This course will teach you how to get out of any situation. At Taildusters, we take safety very seriously. This course will guide you through multiple different scenarios, and give you the skills to safely bring your aircraft back to the ground.
Our GCAA Citabria is the perfect platform for an intro to aerobatics. Citabria spelled backwards is airbatiC! Whether you want to become an airshow pilot, compete in aerobatic competitions, or just try something new, this is the perfect place to start. Interested in aviation, but not sure it is right for you? Come join us for a scenic discovery flight. You will go up with our Airline Transport rated flight instructor over the beautiful Catawba Basin. Take control of an airplane for the first time and spread your wings.
Mountain Flying Course and Banner Tow Endorsements
Our mountain flying course will help prepare you for the rigorous challenges that mountain flying can produce. Whether you plan on moving out west or you want to take your family on a scenic flight over the Appalachian Trail. Mountain flying is filled with risks, and this course will help you mitigate those risks, making you a more confident pilot.
Our Citabria is also equipped with a banner tow hook/release. Our instructor has many hours towing banners, and he can prepare you for the banner tow endorsement. This will help you land that time building job towing banners across the US.

Guidance, Inspiration and Support
Jeremy has had a passion for aviation since he was a small child. He started flying in 2006, shortly after he landed a job as a certified flight instructor for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He graduated from Embry-Riddle in 2010 with a BS in Aeronautical Science. Since then he has had a diverse career from corporate, banner tow, aerial survey, chief instructor, the airlines, and Nascar.
Shelby is one of our amazing owners. She is your go-to for scheduling, payments, and questions. Shelby works full time as a Drug Procurement Tech in the healthcare industry, and helping people is her passion.
